My vision of well-being in Lamorinda
After more than a decade of working as a therapist in private practice, I felt a deep pull to expand my services and create a group practice that could better serve our community. My goal has always been to provide care that’s grounded in compassion, trust, and expertise—and I’ve built Valley Oak Counseling with those same values in mind.
I began my career specializing in child and teen therapy, helping young people and their families navigate life’s challenges. Over time, my practice grew to include grief counseling, trauma therapy, and EMDR. As my own life expanded to being a mother of four, I also saw the need for supporting other parents by offering practical exercises and skills to make their lives easier, richer, and more rewarding.
Now, as the clinical director at Valley Oak Counseling, I’m focused on ensuring that every client who walks through our doors feels truly seen, heard, and supported. I’ve carefully selected a team of therapists who share my vision for providing high-quality care and creating a safe space for healing.
Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’m honored to be a part of your journey. I know taking the first step can feel daunting, but I’m here to make sure you feel cared for every step of the way.
